PopScore is a complete tool for local businesses: Google reviews, wheel, SMS, loyalty card, referrals. If you are looking for an alternative, it is rarely to replace everything. It is because a specific need is not covered, or because you pay for modules you don't use. This page helps you choose based on what you want to keep and what is missing.

In short: to keep SMS and a wheel with a lower subscription and more reputation tools, Ma Belle Note (€29 to €49 excl. VAT per month). For loyalty linked to your till, Zerosix. For reviews across many platforms (Booking, Pages Jaunes, Trustpilot), Guest Suite or Custplace. For a restaurant reviewed on TripAdvisor and TheFork, Dokaa. Prices taken from official websites in September 2026.

Before looking elsewhere, list what you actually use. PopScore covers a lot at an accessible price.

Keep, add: the decision grid

The right replacement depends on the building block you want to keep and the one you are missing.

By profile: who leaves, and for what

Hair salons, beauty institutes, shops: fewer modules, more control over reviews

A salon or shop often uses the wheel and a few SMS, rarely the tablet points card. If that is your case, the Business plan makes you pay for loyalty features you don't use.

Ma Belle Note keeps the essentials: unlimited loyalty wheels, an opt-in customer base, one-off or automated SMS campaigns (welcome, birthday, follow-up after a visit) on both plans. Standard costs €29 excl. VAT per month, with SMS billed at €0.06 excl. VAT each. It adds the fake review shield, a watch on up to 5 nearby competitors and a private feedback inbox. The notable difference: 80 AI credits per month on Standard (one reply = one credit), versus unlimited replies at PopScore. The Ma Belle Note vs PopScore comparison details costs by SMS volume.

Clinics and garages: automation must be supervised

In these trades, a review can mention pain, a patient file, an accident or a billing dispute. The question is not getting more replies, but knowing which ones go out on their own.

At Ma Belle Note, copilot mode is on by default. Autopilot is switched on profile by profile, for example for 4- and 5-star reviews, and sensitive reviews always go back to approval. For these professions, our guide to replying to reviews as a dentist sets out the limits to respect.

Bakeries, cafés, walk-in shops: loyalty first

If your customers come several times a week, the loyalty card matters more than reviews. Two options:

  • Stay with PopScore, which does exactly that with tablet and wallet.
  • Zerosix, a digital loyalty programme advertised on its website from €49 per month for one location excluding service fees, with more than 70 software integrations including tills. Useful to identify customers at payment. Replying to reviews is not its core business.

Businesses reviewed everywhere: more platforms

PopScore highlights managing your Google reviews. If customers also review you on Booking, Pages Jaunes or Trustpilot:

  • Guest Suite claims more than 250 connected platforms, satisfaction surveys and collection by SMS, email or QR code. Its page for independent businesses lists packs from €39 per month, with no commitment and a 14-day free trial.
  • Custplace lists on its pricing page a Business plan at €35 excl. VAT per month (annual billing) focused on visibility in AI engines, and a Premium plan at €125 excl. VAT per month with review management across more than 100 sources and certified reviews. Custplace mainly targets multi-site networks.

Restaurants reviewed on TripAdvisor and TheFork

Dokaa specialises in restaurants and replies to Google, TripAdvisor, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and TheFork reviews. Its pricing page lists €59 and €79 excl. VAT per month with no commitment, with a dedicated account manager. The wheel is in the Performance plan and SMS is an add-on.

Attention

Whatever tool you choose, keep the wheel and SMS separate from reviews: Google's policy prohibits offering incentives in exchange for reviews and soliciting only satisfied customers.

Switching without losing your customers

The sensitive part of leaving PopScore is the loyalty list. Proceed in this order:

  1. Export your contacts with each one's source and consent date.
  2. Tell your customers the programme is changing and settle or convert accumulated points: they don't transfer from one tool to another.
  3. Import the list into the new tool. Only text contacts who agreed.
  4. Recreate your scenarios (birthday, follow-up) before ending the old subscription.
  5. Replace the QR codes at the counter the same day.

To frame your loyalty choices beyond the tool, our loyalty guide for local businesses reviews the mechanics that work. If Ma Belle Note matches your grid, see the pricing page or try it free for 7 days, no credit card required.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best PopScore alternative?

There is no single answer. To keep SMS and a wheel with a lower subscription and gain reputation tools (fake reviews, competitor watch), Ma Belle Note is the closest alternative. For loyalty linked to your till, Zerosix. For reviews across many platforms, Guest Suite or Custplace. For a restaurant reviewed on several platforms, Dokaa.

How much does PopScore cost in 2026?

On its pricing page checked in September 2026, PopScore lists Essentiel at €39, Business at €69 and Entreprise at €99 excl. VAT per month per shop, with no commitment and 50, 200 or 500 SMS included. Annual billing brings these to €31.20, €55.20 and €79.20 per month. The page advertises up to 33% off for multiple shops.

Is there a PopScore alternative with SMS and a wheel included?

Yes. Ma Belle Note includes SMS campaigns (one-off and automated) and unlimited loyalty wheels in both plans, at €29 and €49 excl. VAT per month. SMS are billed per use: €0.06 excl. VAT on Standard, €0.05 on Pro with 100 free SMS a month. There is no points-based loyalty card.

Should I leave PopScore?

Not necessarily. If you use its points card, referrals and SMS scenarios, and receive many Google reviews, PopScore remains a coherent choice. Switching has a cost: new QR codes, moving your customer list, settings. Switch when a specific need is not covered, not for a few euros.

Will my loyalty customers follow me if I change tools?

The contacts will, if you export your list with proof of consent and import it into the new tool. Accumulated loyalty points, however, stay in the old system. Tell your customers, settle or convert points before switching, and only text contacts who agreed to receive messages.
