Best restaurant review management software: 2026 comparison
2026 comparison of 8 Google review tools for restaurants: prices checked in September 2026, strengths, limits and the right restaurant for each tool.
- best restaurant review management software
- google review software for restaurants
- restaurant review software comparison
- restaurant customer review software
- multi-location review management software
- review software pricing
The best review software for a restaurant depends on three things: how many locations you run, where your guests rate you (Google only, or also TripAdvisor, TheFork, Uber Eats) and how much time you want to spend on it yourself. For an independent restaurant focused on Google, a self-service tool with public pricing is enough. For a group that wants to delegate, a managed platform makes sense.
This comparison reviews eight solutions available on the French market, including ours. We make Ma Belle Note, so we judged it with the same criteria as the others, limits included. Prices are the public rates found on 16 September 2026 on each vendor's official website; they change often, so check them before signing.
The 6 criteria that really separate these tools
Good restaurant review software is judged on six concrete points, not on the length of its feature list.
- Platforms covered. Google carries most local searches, but a tourist-area restaurant also lives on TripAdvisor and TheFork, and a delivery-heavy one on Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
- Quality of AI replies. A suggestion you rewrite, a copilot (AI drafts, you approve) or an autopilot (automatic posting), and above all what the tool does with a sensitive review: allergy, food poisoning, serious accusation.
- Review collection. QR code, text message, email, and whether the setup complies with Google's rules.
- Commercial model. Public price or quote, commitment or not, free trial or mandatory demo.
- Multi-location. Per-site access, volume discount, managing several profiles from one account.
- Scope beyond reviews. Loyalty, text messages, social media, listing updates across directories.
One technical point deserves a question during the demo: does the tool use the official Google Business Profile API? Google only grants access to profiles that are verified and active for 60 days or more, and an approved project shows a quota of 300 queries per minute, according to the Business Profile API access documentation. An official connector avoids copy-pasting and shared password access.

The 8 tools one by one
Each profile below follows the same order: what the tool does, what it does well, its limits and the restaurant it is built for.
Ma Belle Note
What it is. A French SaaS for local businesses, restaurants included: AI replies to Google reviews in the venue's tone, dashboard, QR code review collection with private feedback, loyalty wheel, opt-in customer base, text message campaigns, fake review shield, neighborhood competitor watch, monthly AI highlights and a reviews wall for your website.
Strengths. Public pricing: €29 excl. VAT per month per location on Standard (80 AI credits), €49 excl. VAT on Pro (300 AI credits, 100 free text messages per month). Both plans include every feature. Pro applies a sliding discount from 2 locations, from 10% to 30%. 7-day free trial with no credit card and no commitment. AI replies run in copilot or autopilot mode, and sensitive reviews always go back to human approval. Hosted in the EU.
Limits. Only Google reviews are handled today: if TripAdvisor or TheFork weigh heavily in your revenue, a multi-platform tool fits better. No social media management and no listing sync across directories. Each AI action uses credits: a restaurant with a high review volume should pick the Pro plan.
Best for. The independent restaurant or small group that wants to run everything from a phone, with a budget known in advance.
PopScore
What it is. A French platform focused on local marketing: Google reviews, games, text messages, loyalty.
Strengths. Unlimited AI replies from the Essentiel plan, text messages included (50, 200 or 500 per month depending on the plan), automated text campaigns and a tablet loyalty program from the Business plan. 7-day trial, no commitment, annual discount and multi-shop discounts. It is the strongest tool of the panel on loyalty.
Limits. Prices have risen since our previous check: the entry plan now costs €39 excl. VAT per month. General-purpose positioning without a strong restaurant specialization.
Best for. The restaurant that first wants to engage its customers (loyalty, text messages, games) and manage reviews in the same tool. Detailed comparison: Ma Belle Note vs PopScore.
Dokaa
What it is. An online reputation solution built only for restaurants.
Strengths. Automatic replies on Google, TripAdvisor, TheFork, Uber Eats and Deliveroo: the most useful coverage of the panel for a restaurant that does delivery. Performance plan with a review booster and automatic performance reports. No commitment, with two months free on annual billing (€50 and €65 excl. VAT per month). Optional add-ons: text message marketing, multilingual digital menus.
Limits. Higher prices (€59 and €79 excl. VAT per month on monthly billing), gift wheel sold as an add-on at €49 excl. VAT per month, access after a demo. Restaurants only.
Best for. The restaurant active on delivery and booking platforms that wants a tool designed only for its trade. Detailed comparison: Ma Belle Note vs Dokaa.
Malou
What it is. A local marketing platform dedicated to restaurant groups: local SEO, reviews, social media, listing information.
Strengths. The widest scope of the panel: listing sync on 50+ platforms, reviews centralized from 10+ platforms, automated AI replies with alerts on sensitive topics, posting to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Mapstr. Onboarding and a dedicated customer success manager included in every plan. Per-location price decreasing with network size (plans starting at €99, €120 and €151 per location).
Limits. €169 per location per month for one or two restaurants, final price on quote. Hard to justify for an independent that mainly manages Google reviews.
Best for. The multi-restaurant group that wants to run all of its local marketing with human support. Detailed comparison: Ma Belle Note vs Malou.
Guest Suite
What it is. A multi-sector local marketing platform (tourism, automotive, banking, housing), with a plan for independents and a plan for networks.
Strengths. 250+ connected platforms announced, reviews, customer feedback, semantic analysis. Independent packs with no commitment from €39 per month (Pack Étoiles) and €49 per month (Pack Visibilité), network plan for 5 to 500+ locations with consolidated dashboards and a dedicated project manager.
Limits. Network pricing on quote. A general-purpose tool, not designed specifically for restaurants.
Best for. The hotel restaurant or mixed hotel and restaurant group that wants to aggregate many platforms. Detailed comparison: Ma Belle Note vs Guest Suite.
Custplace
What it is. A customer review and local presence platform for brands and networks.
Strengths. Public Business plan at €35 and Premium plan at €125 excl. VAT per month billed annually, review, presence and feedback modules billed per location with volume discounts, and a collection process certified NF by AFNOR according to the vendor.
Limits. Designed for structured brands more than for a single restaurant.
Best for. The chain that wants certified reviews and an auditable process.
Partoo
What it is. A local visibility solution: listings, reviews, messaging.
Strengths. Small business plans (Starter, Pro) and enterprise plans, AI reply suggestions, review collection by text message, centralized messaging (WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, webchat), missed-call redirection options.
Limits. No public price: everything goes through a quote.
Best for. The network that wants listings, reviews and customer messages in one platform.
Goodays (formerly Critizr)
What it is. A customer experience platform: satisfaction surveys, multi-channel feedback, online reputation.
Strengths. Satisfaction measured across many touchpoints, dissatisfaction alerts sent to teams, AI analysis of feedback.
Limits. Pricing not disclosed, positioned for large companies.
Best for. The national brand running a voice-of-the-customer program that goes beyond Google reviews.
Which software fits your restaurant
The right choice follows from your situation; here are the most common cases.
- Independent restaurant, mostly local guests, reviews mostly on Google. Favor a tool with public pricing and a free trial: Ma Belle Note or PopScore. Pick according to your priority: replies and reputation defense on one side, tablet loyalty on the other.
- Restaurant with delivery or a strong tourist clientele. Coverage of TripAdvisor, TheFork, Uber Eats and Deliveroo matters more than price: look at Dokaa first.
- Small group of 2 to 10 restaurants. Compare the total cost per location after discounts. Organization methods are covered in our guide to managing Google reviews for multiple restaurants, and the metrics to track in our article on the multi-location review dashboard.
- Group that wants to delegate social media and local SEO. Malou, with the budget to match.
- National brand or large franchise. Partoo, Guest Suite for networks or Goodays, on quote.

Checks to run before signing
Three checks prevent most bad surprises, whatever tool you pick.
Test on your real reviews. Have the tool draft replies to three real reviews: a compliment, a reasoned complaint, a sensitive review. A reply posted on Google then goes through a review that usually takes 10 minutes and can last up to 30 days, according to Google Business Profile help on reviews: an autopilot does not make the reply visible instantly.
Check that collection is compliant. The Google Maps policy on prohibited content bans offering incentives in exchange for a review and selectively soliciting positive reviews. If a tool offers a game or a gift, it must stay separate from the review request: the restaurant, not the vendor, carries the risk on its profile.
Read the terms. Commitment length, notice period, setup fees, text message prices beyond the allowance, export of your customer data when you leave.
For day-to-day methods once the tool is chosen, read our complete guide to Google review management.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Google review software for a restaurant?
There is no single winner. An independent restaurant that wants to test on its own and pay little is well served by a self-service tool with public pricing (Ma Belle Note, PopScore). A group that wants to hand off part of its local marketing gets dedicated support from Malou. To handle TripAdvisor, TheFork or Uber Eats as well, Dokaa or Guest Suite cover more platforms.
How much does restaurant review management software cost?
Based on public prices checked on 16 September 2026: €29 to €49 excl. VAT per month at Ma Belle Note, €39 to €99 excl. VAT at PopScore, €59 to €79 excl. VAT on monthly billing at Dokaa, from €39 per month at Guest Suite for an independent business, and €169 per location at Malou for one or two restaurants. Partoo and Goodays work on quotes.
Can reservation software replace review software?
Rarely. Reservation systems mostly collect reviews on their own platform, from guests who booked through them. Review software works on your Google profile: it centralizes reviews, helps you reply and helps you get more reviews from all your customers, including walk-ins who never booked. The two tools complement each other; they are not interchangeable.
Can you test review software before committing?
With some vendors, yes. Ma Belle Note and PopScore offer a 7-day free trial. Dokaa, Malou, Partoo and Goodays go through a sales demo before access. In every case, ask to see replies generated on your real reviews rather than a demo account: that is where the quality of the AI shows.
Can review software use a prize wheel to get Google reviews?
Not in exchange for a review. The Google Maps content policy prohibits offering an incentive (discount, free product, prize) for posting a review, and also prohibits selectively soliciting positive reviews. A loyalty wheel is still useful to reward loyalty and collect contacts, as long as it stays completely separate from any review request.
